The designers are now working together to design bespoke objects for private residences, the concepts of which require a special approach to the object environment. Details are selected with great care, in accordance with the historical orientation of the interior. The main idea of the project came from the request of the customer: he demanded to use fewer recognizable authors, brands in the interior and use more custom-made items. It was also decided in the interior to hide the passage to the daughter's neighboring apartment through the closet. All these decisions and the request for Anonymity led us to the main idea of the project.
Aleksandr Orlov (b. 1988) is a Russian interior designer and decorator who established his practice in Moscow after graduating. Every project starts with a concept. To feel the whole narrative of the project, research is needed: the study of the culture of the place, history, characteristic facts. In the future, these features help in the search for shapes, their colors, textures and the choice of materials, the designer believes.During his studies, Aleksandr met Elena Semenova, with whom they were close to the spirit and decided to create beauty together. The collaboration is based on the union of two people with similar views on the interior and lifestyle in it.
In the "Anonymity" project, inspiration is taken from the traditions of the Russian icon - from the most anonymous art in the history of culture. The main colors, materials, furniture shapes and textures are borrowed from Andrei Rublev's icon of the Holy Trinity. The main theme of Anonymity is taken as a basis, since there is a secret in this apartment - this is a secret door through the kitchen to the daughters' apartment, which only the tenants themselves know about.
