The project MRBL is a minimal apartment designed for a couple and located in Yaroslavl, Russia. designed by Ukrainian design studio Artem Trigubchak on the 18th floor of a modern building. The mini-apartment has just three Windows, a complex floor plan and five separate rooms, two of which have no natural light.
Artem Trigubchak was tasked with giving the apartment a functional and simple look that revolutionized the floor plan. It became a two-room apartment with an open-plan living room, kitchen and separate bedrooms.
Artem Trigubchak's design goal is that each room can be illuminated by natural light, which is why the master bathroom is part of the bedroom, while the guest bathroom is separated from the living room by glass tiles and translucent curtains. The renovation of the apartment focuses on the use of natural and durable materials such as marble, concrete, wood and metal.
