Hemant Oberoi is a formal dining space with a modern feel and old World charm. This beautiful space may harken back to a now-forgotten era, but there are plenty of small elements across the restaurant that exhibit traits of modern design.
The designer used a lot of rich, luxurious materials: veneers, wood, stone and added some softness and colour with brightly printed fabrics and coloured velvets. The layout of the space and lighting were key considerations while designing. The space has fantastic natural light. The use of architectural lighting in the space creates a soft glow.
The interiors hold an old world charm, the mahogany coloured walls which evoke a timeless sense of luxury. One of the most striking features in the space is the light installation by Shailesh Rajput. The bright joyous piece hangs high in the centre of the room with white fish and birds coiling delicately along the woven metal vines.
