Francesc Rifé has given fashion and footwear brand ASH a new look. With golden ceilings and tubular metal structures, the store in London's Marylebone High Street aims to enrich the simple form of the space and its neutral quality
The space distinguishes the product through two main design approaches. First, concrete surrounds the entire interior space, providing a neutral and minimalist surface, and quickly focuses the product through linear lighting integrated into the shelves. In addition, a brass frame is used on one side of the store to connect the shoes on display to the Pret-a-Porter, which is intended to call attention to the shape of traditional bamboo scaffolding.
The golden "cloud" is one of the highlights of the project. The ceiling features integrated holes that cast light according to the needs of the space, while other holes are used to add lamps and accessories. This area is illuminated by a small luminaire that moderately illuminates the product, resulting in a starry sky.
