Russian designer Ilya Guliants has updated a 1930s bar in Moscow's Pokrovka to create an elegant and comfortable interior, combining historical details with bright modern furniture and finding a distinctive design.
The concept of the project is to show the monumental architecture of the house and to reflect it in the interior of the bar. The client is an experienced restaurateur with a clear understanding of the exterior and what needs to be done. They want the wine bar to be sophisticated but comfortable at the same time. Its main decoration is filled with several bottles of wine.
