Akrafie, India Mahdavi designed the latest showroom in one of the oldest districts of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Inside the new de Gournay space in Beirut, designed by India Mahdavi, de Gournay collections are presented that best meet the tastes and traditions of the eastern public. The walls of the first room are decorated with luxurious Abbãsi in the Sky hand-painted wallpapers, which premiered in Paris in January 2020.

The hall, where guests are welcomed, is pasted with blooming magnolia Magnolia Canopy on light silk. The meeting and presentation room was decorated with minimalistic wallpapers from the Japanese-Korean Namban collection, created with the Portuguese studio Oitoemponto. And in the bathroom can find on the walls a completely new Klimt design, inspired by a painting by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt.

The main hall is decorated with luxurious floral wallpaper Temple Templeam - one of the most beloved and popular designs of the chinoiserie collection. They are hand-painted in a new color scheme on a shiny basis of 12-carat white gold White Gold Gilded Paper and decorated with hand embroidery. The delicate and sophisticated wall decor is complemented by classic furniture in bright blue-green upholstery and the carpets of Beirut master Ivan Maktabi.
