Koyori Design Studio in Japan, co-founded by Nahoko Nakamura and Masahiko Nakamura, who are not only business partners, but also intimate lovers. As native Kyoto people, the two founders have a strong affection for Kyoto.
Koyori Design Studio they founded aims to promote the beauty of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. And to create a design studio that is authentic, creative, and pursues the "artisan spirit" that promotes the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship, it has also become their unremitting goal.
Moriki Paper, designed by koyori, is a minimal space located in Tokyo, Japan. The program of the interior is delineated by raised floors and finished ceilings and contrasts with the exposed threshold at the entrance. Neutral colors were used to focus on the paperwork, the space served as a backdrop, and translucent windows provided natural light without being visually exposed.
