Owall Hotel is a chic boutique design hotel in Seoul, located in the Gangnam district of Seoul. Hyon-Sook Park, the developer of the local brand April Hotel, brought her brand “mi” (contemporary Korean beauty) to a new level, which is a minimalist dream.
Owall is the work of her best friend and visionary designer Paik-Sun Kim. When he died in November 2017, he was among the internationally renowned designers. This is his last legacy and the most ambitious project.
五月套房
From the marble look to the faucet, Paik Sun Kim personally designed every detail, injecting every element with a light touch, reminiscent of his painting background. Each of the 32 rooms offers its own character for a traditional Korean family. Natural finishes throughout, locally sourced wood, Italian marble and granite combine a luxurious surface with an unadorned atmosphere.
花园套房
The gallery on the first floor promises to hold an exhibition featuring Korean artists every month. Alternatively, guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a cosy breakfast in the nearby Gangnam area. The breakfast is made from dried squid and the local tradition is recommended as a powerful hangover therapy for the revelers.
