A glamorous private home in Los Angeles, designed by local architecture and interior design Studio Shamshiri. A Hollywood couple wants an architect to create a house just like themselves. The Shamshiri team provided them with a simple and detailed modernist house, encased in burning rosewood siding, a zinc roof and a strategic facade of sandblasted concrete blocks. "The house blends in with its surroundings. The eaves and overhangs were cut to fit the local sycamore and oak trees, and huge window walls and skylights were designed. Wherever we look, nature beckons to us.
