Dorshada Resort, located in Chonburi Province, Thailand, was designed by Bangkok-based architecture firm ACA Architects. The project is a redesign of the existing interior 5-storey hotel building, as the client wanted a modern and luxurious architectural style to attract young tourists and new customers.
Due to the strong selling point of Dorshada Resort is the Thai design characteristics, coupled with the Thai style of the building composition, the design team decided to retain the "Thai flavor" accent, combined with modern architectural design. The interpretation of "Thainess" may come not from the gable lines of Thailand or the elegant gold decoration, but from the emphasis on the sense of space, lightness, delicacy of detail and harmony with nature.
