The third floor of a classic Grade II listed building in west London is the latest addition by design studio Banda Property to Leinster Square Apartment 06, a classic housing complex that dates back to 1850. Prior to that, the site was a hotel that underwent a complete redevelopment and was turned into a 15-apartment residential complex, including 8 apartments in the wing, 5 townhouses and 2 penthouses.

Leinster Square Apartment 06 is a 230 Square metre Apartment with three bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. A generous horizontal layout within the house emphasizes the extraordinary sense of space. The living room is communicated through sets of large double doors, so that when necessary, the space can feel private, but also social, open and fluid.

In Banda Property's work, they use only natural materials in soft tones: marble, cave stone, agate, wood, velvet, linen and wool. They wanted the space to be very soft, soothing, even feminine. To do this, they used a lot of different neutral tones of textiles and added some pink accents. Banda Property wanted all rooms to be unique, so special vintage items were found in each room, which will be combined with modern furniture as well as bespoke items to create a unique atmosphere.

The living room, dining room and kitchen of the project are located on the same axis, connected by a suite. When all the doors are opened, the space looks very wide and airy. Herringbone oak parquet floors flow from room to room, helping to create visual unity. In the kitchen, the designer matched the parquet floor with a suit, complete with white marble countertops and an island.

In the dining room, on an oak floor, there is an oak table with special shaped legs, dining chairs and sofas designed by Banda Property. The centerpiece of the living room is a huge sofa covered in red-brown velvet. Together with the black marble fireplace doors, they create a slightly dramatic atmosphere that enhances feminine elegance and comfort.
