Banda Property transformed the 1800 building into a peaceful and personalised family home, enhancing the history of the home itself while incorporating contemporary design elements, classic colours and warm textures. Inspired by a 17th century tapestry, its depth, texture and story set the tone for the entire house and compliment the home's gardens and long historical traditions.
The designers' aim was to build elegance through "clean, modern lines" and to promote the family heritage of the project. The original residential structure displayed in the space is combined with the new architectural form, and traditional details such as the cornice and rose figures on the ceiling exude a timeless charm under the delicate outline of the details. The living room is made of warm, textured materials; In the dining room, a permanent floral installation is placed above a custom oak dining table; The kitchen also establishes a dialogue based on the past and the present.
Banda Property is a diversified property development company based in London, covering real estate partnerships, development, project management, architecture and interior design around the world. Although each project has its own unique characteristics, they share a common philosophy of "striving to create an environment that is both beautiful and suitable".
