Christian Liaigre were commissioned to design their private residence in Paris' upscale suburb on the Banks of the Seine for a loyal client. Often referred to as Paris's 21st Arrondissement, this upscale neighborhood is a tree-lined street paradise with private homes and adjacent to the Bois de Boulogne park.
At 6,500 square feet, it was a fairly large project for the company. The spirit of Paris is hidden in this modernist home, which looks quiet but conceals enthusiasm. The art-loving couple showcased a collection of contemporary and international art.
"It's almost like building a new house," says Christian Liaigre. "It's a custom-made renovation for the family." It's all a bit mysterious, and there's an overgrown garden with a dreamy atmosphere and a bit of old glamour.
