Clementine Stoney Maconachie
When driving, waiting for something or daydreaming, an idea often appears anywhere. I am not sure what attracted me at first. As far as I can remember, I have been attracted to sculpture. I am accompanied by art and sculpture. grow up.
Maconachie is a sculptor who lives in Sydney. Her work centers on simplicity, tolerance for imperfections, and the contrast between hard materials and soft shapes. Maconachie spent his early years in a swimming pool and participated in the world's highest swimming competition. Maconachie established its own creative agency in 2015 to provide customization of private sculpture installations for retail stores, fashion showrooms, and Sydney Fashion Week shows!
Maconachie draws inspiration from the works of masters such as Isamu Noguchi, Barbara Hepworth, Henry Matisse, Frida Kahlo, etc. She focuses on the material itself, and is good at making sculptures using metal, stone and other materials. Try to find your own style from shapes, lines and contrast!
For Maconachie, she doesn't even need too much creative motivation, only materials or leftovers. When she starts a new idea, she can test it immediately. Inspiration can be produced anywhere, and most of her sculptures are produced by her in an unplanned and necessary working atmosphere!
