DDG and Global Holdings completed their Gaudi-inspired Tower 180 on East 88th Street. This 50-story skyscraper has 47 private residences, ranging from lofts to five-bedrooms, full-floor and duplex units, and three-story penthouses. Located in the Upper East Side of New York City, this unique project expresses the influence of the early 20th century and its high-rise masonry buildings, paying tribute to the lost traditional arts and crafts, while maintaining contemporary aesthetics. To celebrate the traditional craftsmanship, the 180 East 88th Street tower designed by DDG has a hand-laid brick exterior wall of nearly 600,000 bricks handcrafted by Peterson Tegel of Denmark.
