Long term collaborators Elisa Ossino and Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer have staged another signature visually arresting installation in the Milanese gallery apartment on Via Solferino during Milan Design Week 2021.The creative duo — who work together under H+O Studio while also running independent creative businesses — took inspiration from a song by The Velvet Underground and Nico for the installation.
Designed by Elisa Ossino Studio, the interior features a carefully curated medley of objects from a range of Italian and Nordic design houses, exhibiting furniture, lighting, ceramics and art dedicated to the concept of the mirror.
Italian artist Roberta Savelli created a site-specific, analogue art installation to enhance the suspenseful atmosphere of the space, while Akvama Hoffmeyer’s File Under Pop tiles lined the interior walls and floors.
