Hills Residence is a house surrounded by nature and its interior was conceived by Giorgio Rava as a temple dedicated to spirituality and contemplation. A place of peace that expresses simple, timeless elegance and resolves the eternal conflicts between man and nature, man and creation, earth and heaven. The living area at the heart of the project is a pure space, surrounded by extensive natural stone walls and floors.

It is an almost primitive space dominated by a strong stepped wall that integrates various functions in an abstract single geometric form. The only exception is a huge cast bronze bowl of lost wax that sits on the steps where water flows in, like an ancient water source. Water becomes an architectural element, balancing the heavy stone and cast bronze, as if wanting to freeze its reflections and eternal ripples.

All functional elements are carefully hidden, subjecting the flaunting of technology to the material and power of the natural elements. Italian limestone from CARSO leaves behind original, heat-coated lost wax cast bronze and natural wood, defining an important palette of materials that evoke the nuances of earth and its warmth. It is an architectural treasure house filled with matter and light, a place that magnifies the soul, where visual silence makes room for spirituality and subjectivity in the people who live here.
