Louis Kahn was a pioneer in the use of light and shadow in architectural design. He believed that space should be a place where people can feel pure in spirit. Making light free and controllable becomes the core of the design of Ray Gallery photography space. Space and light are inseparable, because all spatial experiences of architecture must have light. Even in total darkness, the concrete experience of space mastered by hearing, touching, or smelling is actually a reference to the understanding of space established through vision and light.

The project is located in Taiyuan Wanbailin District, close to Wanbailin Ecological Park. The project hopes to build a photography space to record current life with stories centering on the brand "Keep this moment". "Light" is the interlinked element between photography and space. Photography is the art of light, and it is equally important for space experience. Real space experiences are physical and multisensory. Every attractive space and place is bound to have its own unique light, and light is usually the most direct mood regulating space characteristics.
