Surrounded by hundreds of miles of brutal scenery, Folly Mojave is an off-grid, luxury wilderness retreat at the intersection of The Mojave National preserve and Joshua Tree National Park.
Inspired by the desert vistas, clear skies and Martian terrain, architect and designer Malek Alqadi has created a 200-acre respite derived from the surrounding natural elements. Meant to promote wellness, healing, and self-reflection, guests are treated to an intimate disconnect from our world.
Folly Mojave is more than an escape; it’s a bold architectural statement that pushes the boundaries of sustainable design. Here, amidst the stark beauty of the Mojave, a sanctuary emerges. It beckons the discerning traveler seeking an uncompromising experience, one where authentic hospitality and environmental consciousness coexist in harmony.
Influenced by the ancient architecture of his birthplace, Petra, Jordan, and the proportions of Alula and the Peruvian Chullpas, Alqadi imagined Folly Mojave as a medium for people to engage with nature-derived, divine spaces.
