Sarah was born in Queensland, Australia and grew up in the local village of Wootha. As an artist, she is mainly engaged in sculpture creation. Sarah's works combine local traditional crafts and materials, and are dedicated to the exploration of the details of miniature plants.

Sarah is fascinated by native Australian plants and seeks inspiration from their circulating life cycles. She is particularly interested in the development of flowers and seeds. Sarah dissected the sample of the plant, peeled it off layer by layer, carefully inspected its shape, texture, and cracks, and revealed its complicated microstructure in an artistic way.

Sarah's goal is to transform porcelain from an inert material into a three-dimensional, sensual and eye-catching work that reflects the beauty, temptation and mystery of plants.These forms speak of the complexity and richness of native plants, but they are not faithful representatives. Rather, they are subjective interpretations, highlighting the instability of our delicately balanced ecosystem.
