Puju Tea Space
Good stuff is something that continues to surprise you and make you happy. -- Matsuura Yitaro
"Simple seclusion in the mountains waiting for the predestined companion, tea retreats for bosom friends", this is the founder of Pu Ju has always adhered to the original intention. This space designer also follows this starting point to plan this simple living tea space located on the bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou. The dark light at the entrance reflects on the water, slowly guiding the pace of golden light, flower landscape on the water is integrated with this. The designer presents the spirit of Oriental aesthetics in a contemporary restrained way, creating a tea space that can be in harmony with people and make people completely immersed in a quiet tea world.
A beam of light, as if through space can illuminate the heart of people. Following the guidance of light into the interior, the experience of space slowly unfolds. The initial intention of designers to create a space is to retreat from design, as far as possible to weaken the structure gap of the space itself, so that the whole space is more coherent and natural. Control the entry of light, let the light appear just right.
If the whole French window on the side of the hall is retained as is, the light will be scattered, and the two sides of the seal will gather the light in one place, and the style of the space will come out. Step into the hall, tea culture display, product display and the hall of tea space integration. That is to maintain the independence of commodities, but also do not lose space to serve the essence of human.
The first step to experience the mood of tea tasting comes from "entering". The corridor of the Chinese teahouse is guided by the light from the window, and the reflection of water features on both sides extends forward. Designers through some forms of order, to achieve an order. Tea is the meaning, space is the environment, a bunch of flower arrangement, a tea mat, fluent space lines, do not need too much decoration, giving people the space of imagination and artistic beauty.
The location of the project breaks the definition of traditional tea space. Instead of a small courtyard scene, it is on the top of a cloud, overlooking the whole Qiantang River and the prosperity of the city. The hustle and bustle of city life can try to slow down here, we hope to bring you a happy life through tea.
