Opened in 2013, the Aurora Museum is the first private art museum in Shanghai's Lujiazui area. The Louvre Museum is the first project completed by Tadao Ando in China. The Aurora museum follows his usual minimalist style. Mr. Ando said his goal was to create a place where people could think about existence and history in peace and quiet.
