Tania Rollond was born in Esperance, Western Australia. After completing a bachelor's degree in design at Curtin University, Tania began her life as a pottery artist, setting up her own studio in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Over the years, she has held several award-winning exhibitions and is now a pottery lecturer at the National College of The Arts in Sydney.
Tania was brought up on a farm in Western Australia and, influenced by her growing environment, her work includes elements of nature, modern art, Scandinavian design, indigenous art patterns and more. She is good at using different threads and patterns to create narratives and emotional porcelain. She believes that "creativity is collage" and these creative patterns provide an opportunity for her to express herself.
