The exceptional residence is the latest in the scheme's ongoing programme of designer collaborations, following practical completion in June 2024.
Situated on the historic site of Mirabelle - a restaurant once celebrated in high society and frequented by icons including Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill and Russell Crowe - this apartment embodies the creative vision of 60 Curzon. Designer exhibits the timeless nature of the decorative movement through a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern-day opulence.
Central to designer ’s approach is a vision to bring to life not just a space, but a holistic experience that draws inspiration from the artistic spirit of Mayfair. A neighbourhood replete with world-class galleries, fine dining and exclusive members’ clubs, the 1,828 sq. ft twobedroom home captures the essence of an entertainer’s sanctuary from the moment of arrival.
Reviving 60 Curzon’s glittering past, the apartment’s living area provides the ideal backdrop for both intimate gatherings and grand entertaining. Throughout this space, the influence of Art Deco is evidenced by stepped mouldings that pay homage to the period’s luxurious, geometric style.
In honour of 60 Curzon’s Art Deco integrity, the apartment has been thoughtfully designed with an eclectic interplay of textured materials including lacquered surfaces, burr woods, silk wallpaper, and a statement ceiling finished in back-painted glass. This aesthetic is further elevated by Tatjana von Stein’s own Mise en Scène furniture collection. The collection has been reimagined in new bespoke materials and positioned alongside a curated selection of works in collaboration with Artvisor, by artists including Paul Jenkins and Julian Beck, and sculptors such as Kevin Francis Gray and Rory Menage.
The bespoke bed is flanked by an antique 1950s console by Paolo Buffa and vintage table lamps, each carefully selected to contribute to the room’s character. In the guest bedroom, which boasts a rich palette of Dedar fabrics, every piece, from the bedding to the lighting, has been chosen to seamlessly blend comfort and sophistication.
