Texas-based Michael Hsu design studio has transformed the original printing plant into the New York headquarters of Shake Shack, the us burger company. Shake Shack's operations center occupies half a floor of an industrial building on Varick street in lower Manhattan.
Michael Hsu studio designed an open space where existing industrial details are offset by numerous factories and contemporary fixtures. The fast casual chain, which has more than 200 stores in the U.S. and overseas, also has a green and black logo. "Shake Shack is important, and their brand culture is reflected in their space," said Michael Hsu studio. "The office was designed to support the company's commitment to hospitality and cooperation."
