Baptiste Bohu is called "Beckham" and is an interior design and product designer from France. In 2008, the interior design studio of Baptiste Bohu was established in Shanghai.
Baptiste Bohu began painting and decorating his own and friends' houses from an early age. However, under my father's pressure, I went to business school and got a master's degree in business strategy and consulting in London. After studying in the United States, Australia and Europe, he came to Shanghai to complete his studies in 2006.
Although the first job after finishing my studies was in the advertising industry, Baptiste Bohu was passionate about interior design, so I decided to quit my previous job and try to be a designer. With a strong family background in real estate and architecture, he quickly gained taste and technical skills to create an elegant and comfortable interior design.
At the recently designed Chongming Island Boutique Hotel, Baptiste Bohu also developed his collection of personal furniture, lighting and accessories, which featured his iconic black and white stripes and Art Deco elements.
Baptiste Bohu's design does not simply cater to fashion trends, but pursues classics. This is his inspiration from the Roman Empire architecture, the Palace of Versailles and many of the world's most famous architectural projects, even if the baptism of the years is never out of date.
Baptiste Bohu's style is sought after by A-level customers in residential and commercial projects around the world. Inspired by Art Deco, French Classicism and contemporary design, it is like to blend different elements of the times, to contrast and mix classical and modern elements, East and West, to create a unique and quiet space.
