Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Surrey, London, Sophie Paterson serves primarily high-end commercial and residential projects in the UK and overseas. Sophie Paterson brand was founded only 23 years old. A few years later, her company has become Britain's most successful interior design studio, with many celebrities to support Sophie to transform their home.
Sophie liked interior design when she was young, but instead of turning her initial pursuit into a career, she chose to study Business and Spanish at Bath University.
Sophie's contemporary, classic interiors provide a personalized, relaxing design service to their studio in Surrey. Sophie designed each project in person and then a senior designer and design coordination team managed the project so that Sophie could focus on making the right design and the progress and cost budgets for the project seamlessly proceeded.
Sophie iconic style is a contemporary classic, designed work that will stand the test of time and that in five years will not be out of date.
Since her studio was founded in 2008, Sophie has experimented with a mix of rustic chic and contemporary design elements, but the real idea was to move after her project. Sophie explains: "Moving to Surrey was a big deal for me and embraced a more country-chic style on my interior."
Hampton's interior and love of antiques are also inspiring Sophie to play a role in the chic aesthetic of the country. Sophie loves Hampton's interior and anything designed by Mrs. Bamford, her Daylesford brand and architecture epitomizing a chic, country-perfect silhouette.
Sophie likes to combine different country materials such as lime wood, gray wicker, linen, leather, wool and sisal rugs for a rustic chic, Sophie recommends avoiding excessive glitter or synthetic fabrics because it can clash with the natural elements.
Among all Sophie's country-style chic works, her Esher project has the living room and kitchen lounge area the most prominent. Soft, neutral colors, antique furniture and modern silhouettes make it easy to see why this open space is crafted by her favorite country chic.
Rustic chic interior furniture adds to the casual atmosphere, making it feel more gracious. Beautiful modern and traditional spaces, summer and winter, now and for the next few years, rustic chic are those that will never look outdated, but increasingly warm and comfortable.
