Blancostudio was founded in 2020 by Balinese architect and designer Conchita Blanco, who brings a layered background in architecture, design, and artistic heritage to her work. The studio offers fully bespoke services that span master planning, architecture, interior design, and detailed custom elements such as furniture and lighting. Each design is conceived as a narrative—from structural form to the smallest crafted piece—where every component helps articulate meaning and context within a project.
At the core of Blancostudio’s philosophy is a commitment to crafting timeless environments that foster deep connections between people and place. The studio draws inspiration from the cultural and architectural heritage of each site, blending traditional forms and materials with contemporary design thinking. Rather than merely preserving the past, Blancostudio reimagines tradition for the present, ensuring that every project endures both emotionally and functionally over time.
Blancostudio places strong emphasis on sustainable craftsmanship and the thoughtful use of natural materials. Through close collaboration with local artisans—especially those from Kalpa Taru—the studio integrates time-honored techniques and locally sourced materials into modern design solutions. This approach not only champions quality and durability over mass production but also celebrates the evolving patina of materials such as brick, limestone, brass, and timber, reinforcing authenticity and a sense of place in all projects.
