Eva Papadaki was born in the small village of Sellia on the island of Crete, growing up surrounded by nature and the vast Libyan Sea. This environment, characterized by simplicity and purity, profoundly shaped her aesthetic sensibilities and life philosophy. She studied business administration, marketing, and media communications in Athens, followed by image management in London, but ultimately returned to Athens to channel her creativity into local culture and design. She emphasizes that “luxury lies in simplicity,” a principle that guides both her life and her work.

As the founder and curator of 10AM lofts, Eva transformed a six-story industrial building in the Gazi district of Athens into a multifunctional creative space. The building now houses artist studios, exhibition areas, event spaces, and a penthouse, blending raw industrial elements with minimalist design and a refined attention to materials. Eva is personally involved in every detail, creating an environment that is both open and welcoming, attracting creative minds from around the world for collaboration and exchange.

Beyond the lofts, Eva also established 10AM apotheke, a concept store that combines lifestyle aesthetics, handcrafted products, and cultural narratives. Many of the items come from small Greek producers, particularly from Crete, and carry personal and familial memories, such as her grandmother’s handmade soap and traditional recipes. Through these projects, Eva not only promotes a philosophy of simple living but also fosters connections between people, objects, and cultural heritage, making every space and product imbued with story and soul.
