IQOSA is an international interior design firm based in Kiev, Ukraine, specializing in the development and realization of residential and commercial interior design projects, especially luxury apartments and country homes, modern offices and restaurants. Can fuse different styles of design, create a perfect fusion of cultural spirit and practicality.

Yinji:Your firm's name: IQOSA, is there any significance in this?
IQOSA:Yes, of course. It's shorthand for icosahedron - a polyhedron, one of the Platonic solids - denotes the element of water. This is our vision - the water is perfect. It's changeable, adaptive, creates new forms and destroys old ones. IQOSA's like water… creates a perfect design.

Yinji:We admire the Ukrainian design spirit very much. Your designs are very flavorful and full of luxury. How do you maintain your sensitivity to fashion and apply it to your design?
IQOSA:There are a lot of talented and strong designers in Ukraine, in order to stand out, you need to make a very memorable, interesting and quality product. As the level of competition is very high, so the design Ukrainian is growing rapidly.

Yinji:Delicate textures and rich design expressions are all reflected in your unique design. How do you define your unique design style?
IQOSA:Interior design isn't just the creation of an external author's entourage. It's always necessary to integrate furniture, lighting of certain brands into it. So there are brands that dictate trends in the market that are close to us in spirit and style. We work in the modern classic style - its main feature is that the beauty of our projects, their aesthetics are always in collaboration with the full functionality of the space. Materials are durable, and objects made of these materials are always pleasing not only visually, but also tactilely.

Yinji:Is your design influenced by a design master? What is your favorite designer?
IQOSA:There is no favorite designer on the team. But we always follow the creativity of our colleagues in Ukraine and in the global industry and get more inspiration from projects.

Yinji:Since the establishment of your firm, how have you managed the design team? How many people are there in total? What are your current business directions?
IQOSA:We have a small but creative and professional team. The main principle is to make a high-quality, well-developed product. We have one business direction for now - it's interior and architecture design.

Yinji:What if a Chinese developer is interested in your design? Would you consider foreign projects? How will you control the final presentation of the project?
IQOSA:When we collaborate with a foreign customer - this is mostly in the online mode, but does not exclude the case when we arrive on objects. It all depends on the customer and the situation. We work with global brands that have offices all over the world, and we're not afraid to work in such a remote mode, since everything is now freely available. We can choose something in the showroom in Kiev, and in the showroom in China our client can see and approve it.
