© 粤ICP备19077098号When we think of Mexico, we often think of their colorful art forms, which combine Native Indian and European cultures to form a unique tradition of art, music and dance. Their architectural styles are equally varied, with elements of ancient civilization, Spanish colonial period, and modern design coming together to show a unique local character.
Located in the forests of Guadalajara, Mexico, Casa Primavera was designed by Estudio Macias-Peredo and styled by Aagnes. The house uses a solid concrete structure as the core skeleton of the building, creating a bold and powerful interior space. Sunlight pours into the interior, creating a soft contrast with the rough materials and warming the heart.
The interior incorporates organic materials such as stone, dark clay and textiles, allowing the building to connect with the surrounding landscape. In the kitchen, traditional Mexican crafts such as antique grinding stones and Tonala pottery give off a warm glow against the sun. Black pottery and volcanic stone ornaments adorn every corner, and the matte surface and rough texture enrich the spatial level, creating a poetic situation that is both primitive and modern.
A pair of wicker chairs designed by Frederick Weinberg in the 1940s form the focal point of the terrace. The rough concrete and stone set off the delicate texture of the wicker. The old wooden benches and hand-carved stone tools tell the precipitation of time in an irregular form, and form an element echo with the geometric order of the building.
