VPV House stands as a crafted response to contemporary pressures, transforming architecture and interiors into a restorative experience. The design vision was centred on escapism: to create a quiet rebellion against the relentless pace of modern life.

Designed for a couple who are content creators, with their two young children, the home responds to their unique lifestyle, where digital pressures made it essential to create a sanctuary for them to escape, and be in the presence of their family.

Materiality played a key role in amplifying the dream-like quality of the interiors. A palette of soft pinks and earthy browns was chosen to evoke serenity, layered with textures and softened light to create an ethereal atmosphere. At the heart of this palette is the Breccia Oniciata marble - its natural veins of warm pinks and creams anchor the formal living and dry kitchen. The stone’s expressive beauty lends both refinement and comfort, embodying the home’s duality as a space of elegance and sanctuary.

Tones of browns and softness extend into their bedrooms and walk-in wardrobe. There should be a seamless transition between communal and private zones, supporting both intimacy and solitude. The house is imagined as a poetic refuge, a place of warmth, tranquillity, and disconnection from the weight of the outside world.
