B.E. Architecture has completed a new project called Mermaid Beach Residence, located on The gold coast of Queensland, on a whimsical Beach. The design concept of B.E. Architecture aims to create a comfortable and spacious living environment for its clients, to face nature while respecting nature, to explore human desires and the eternal emotions of nature.
B.E. Architecture is a dynamic, multicultural and diverse young design team with extensive personal interests and expertise located in Melbourne, Australia, founded in 1999 by Broderick Ely, Jonathon Boucher and Andrew Piva. After more than 20 years of practice, B.E. Architecture has accumulated extensive work across Australia, earning the respect of both peers and clients for its experience in creating complex, timeless Architecture. B.E. Architecture has a long history in residential and commercial space Architecture.
Mermaid Beach Residence often has to deal with cyclones and thunderstorms, as well as harsh sunlight. For these reasons, B.E. Architecture USES cast-in-place concrete as the main building material, giving the house a sense of unity and protecting it from natural influences. At the same time, the client wanted a relaxed, open, sunny family home facing directly to the beach.
Mermaid Beach Residence reflects The obvious connection between The natural environment and The architecture. The rooms extend into an internal courtyard, with large Windows offering framed views of the Beach and pool, a ground-floor living area just steps from the Beach coastline, and a ground-floor terrace overlooking the expansive Mermaid Beach coastline. Inside, a variety of interests reflect the family, including a studio, a place to work from home or practice yoga, a place to relax and read, an open entertainment area, a spacious kitchen and living area, and a four-bedroom suite.
