Elegant, discreet, consistent with architecture and time - a project in the house on Mosfilmovskaya. Babayants Architects were faced with the following tasks: to fit in and practically dissolve in the environment, not to block the magnificent panoramas of Moscow, not to draw attention to ourselves, not to burden the feeling of height, to provide the maximum of pastime scenarios and places from which panoramas are visible, to work out the light correctly to frame twilight and night views of the city.
How studio solved them: they opened the layout, left a minimum of barriers to light, filled the interior with light, calm, almost monochrome surfaces; color accents, painting and wood, refreshed the interior, as if saturating the air.
The main theme of the project was glass! Logically, it is glass that can not block anything and visually lighten all objects. The project has a lot of glass elements and pieces of furniture. In some places they are completely transparent, sometimes in an unusual role (like a glass pouffe).
To reduce the degree of "industrial" glass, we added natural textures: warm wood, smooth and embossed natural stone. But the whole interior still allows the glass details to be the highlight, making the interior different and revealing its personality.
