In modern times, Seoul is part of a mixed-use complex that combines commerce, shopping and leisure, and the client's intention is to shape history by redefining the future of retail. Its vision is to contribute to social value by combining magnificent architecture, innovation and visually stimulating contemporary design, technology and inspiration to provide customers with an unforgettable shopping experience.

Burdifilek was commissioned to design the three-story Hyundai Seoul Store in Seoul, which also includes a Zen-style atrium with a 12-meter-high sculptural waterfall. A green belt around the space was conceived by the studio to provide continuity to the overall theme of health and tranquility, which was inspired by the grand Plaza and the natural environment surrounding Seoul.

The second floor, is defined as timeless, luxurious and elegant women's high-end fashion place. Its iconic form emphasizes texture and sculptural tones, bringing a gallery-like atmosphere, with soft and indirect lighting paired with fluid form ceilings that exude an ethereal quality. The combination of subtle tones, matte textured finishes and translucency further lifts the ambience.

On the third floor, the change of atmosphere invites guests into another world, adopting a futuristic approach that maintains the commonality of sculptural elements and expresses them in a bolder form. Dark blue tones, contrasting natural and man-made materials, sculptural walls and popular colors set the tone for the space and speak more directly to the featured brands.

The worlds of art, haute couture, design and nature collide in this modern retailer yard to create a cultural experience where the designer offers something unexpected through a variety of projects and contrasting visual environments, while creating a memory point for the client.
