The Louis Vuitton Foundation building is located in the Jardin d'Acclimatation, an amusement park in France. Frank Gehry's design was inspired by traditional 19th-century fiberglass greenhouse architecture, as well as the image of a "sailboat". As a result, the architects envisioned a 7,000-square-metre building that features twelve glass and steel "sails" wrapped around a core known as the "Iceberg", made of white ultra-high performance fibre concrete (UHPC).
