Leonstynen and Paul De Meyer's 1968 Antwerp Riverside Mansion is a modernist classic and local landmark. Located on the top floor is the home of fashion designers and life partners Pieter Mulier and Matthieu Blazy, which formerly belonged to De Meyer's own penthouse.
The project aims to open up the interior Spaces while retaining the intent of the original building. To this end, dramatic, long and continuous glazing was created to form the landscape, while converting the existing six-bedroom apartment into a spacious one-bedroom apartment consisting of a one-bedroom apartment and a suite.
