Punta Ballena is located in a luxury housing complex near Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. Among cardons, organs, yuccas and copales stands a villa located almost organically among the endemic landscape of La Baja.
The insertion of the villa into the site is done in such a way that its architecture allows to enjoy the formidable climate and a lot of comfort. Its transparency and openness blur the subtle line between interior and exterior, offering panoramic views towards the ocean.
For the interior proposal, neutral materials with deep texture and natural wear were selected, such as porous stones on the floors, smooth mortars on the walls and warm pink wood.
The neat design is complemented by an exquisite curation of jute, henequen, clay, copper and stone pieces from different parts of Mexico and the result of collaborations between Mexican artisans and artists.
