LE 1550 is a chalet with a different meaning, located in Les 3 Vallsames, the largest ski resort in the world, which deeply interprets the artistic aesthetics of mountain life and offers visitors an unparalleled living environment. The interior combines numerous vintage pieces and custom furniture, supported by tactile wood and the studio's unique aesthetic, reflecting a sincere pursuit of its own charm and authenticity.
The aesthetic of the chalet refers to modernist architecture as well as the work of Charlotte Perriand, proposing "a unique interpretation of the Art of living in the mountains", while the interior design, conceived by Josephine Fossey, combines vintage pieces and made-to-measure furniture with the omnipresence of wood.
It was essential for this new place to retain what makes the Iconic House Collection strong today: the search for the rare good, exceptional facilities, singularity, asperities, and a central place given to local art and crafts. After 9 months of work and the construction of an extension, the Chalet has 8 comfortable en-suite rooms, each with its own identity, including 1 family suite and 3 semi-subterranean dens whose openings offer a breathtaking view of the mountain.
