Designed by Seoul-based design studio Labotory, Sappun Garosu-Gil is a flagship store for the brand. Elegant curve and delicate sense of balance are not only the representative of modern women's shoes, but also similar to the direction of the brand development. To capture the rich styling of Saapun's flagship store, Labotory designed it by adding asymmetrical balances to make the spatial language possessed by Saapun boutiques aesthetically pleasing.

In addition to the success of the Saapun store, Labotory hopes that the Saapun brand can grow into a more sensitive brand in garosu-Gil in this iconic area. Therefore, a more mature and profound impression of the brand is expressed through the space.

The exterior is curved from the entrance to the facade. From the inside, the curved surfaces overlap at different heights on the ceiling, giving a variety of stares to elements that might otherwise be drab, giving the space a sense of rhythm. The furniture placed inside reflects the shape of shoes and heels. Partitions and columns are placed repeatedly on each facade to create a sense of stability and comfort.

At the same time, the left and right sides of the space are asymmetrical, bringing the space to life through the asymmetry of the elements. Lab is committed to bringing brand value to its flagship stores. The rhythmic and asymmetrical balance of the curve is both a language and a spatial tool to communicate this value correctly.
