The latest project, Hyundai MoK-dong Sage Vip Lounge, is created by Labotory, a design studio based in Seoul, South Korea. It is also The second project after The Hyundai Seoul Sage Vip Lounge. The two projects share the same beauty in style, in terms of lighting treatment, plant decoration and the tone and tonality of the stage, all aiming to present a fresh and natural minimalist identity.
The Mok-dong project focuses more on the "beauty of the corner", it has no center. Iconic curves and geometries fill The space, reinforcing The identity of The Hyundai Sage VIP Lounge. The only way to capture minimalism is to create something that should be seen, and to interpret an expression of a naked spatial emotion. In addition, Labotory has carefully designed exquisite and exquisite furniture for this project, such as lamps, small tables and chairs as shown in the picture below.
The Sage Vip Lounge project established the design language through the form, function and color of a cup of tea, and developed the design language accordingly. The shape of the tea is carefully expressed as the spatial nature of the project. Labotory refined the function of tea into a space for relaxation and communication. Finally, the transparent tawdry color and clean tea cups are reflected in the whole space.
From the entrance, a complex curve, similar to the shape of a teacup, guides customers to move. The core space reinterprets the shape of the teacup and expresses the core space in the form of curved walls and ceilings. The interior uses elements of glass, a transparent and reflective material, in the form of a ceiling, and the scene of tea being poured into a cup is captured in the central space. Through this, the studio wanted to provide a comfortable resting space through tea. They wanted to use the pure colour and warmth of tea to bring out the colour of the space and deliver a comfortable and unique Sage VIP lounge experience.
