A warm, quiet house in Sydney, Australia, designed by local interior design studio Les Interieurs. The house has attractive heritage features that can be polished and revitalized. The new carpet needed to be installed, but Pamela managed to keep the original parquet floors and scrub them back to their original color.
The new kitchen reflects the period details in the ornate window frames and ceiling design, and the traditional shaker cabinetry, like the rest of the house, is painted a warm white. European influence shines through the striking marble-covered island bench, ensuring that the kitchen will remain a permanent feature for years to come. Middle Harbour House, Les Interieurs, was a turning point for Les Interieurs, a distinct departure from their previous project, showing the same thoughtful composition and adventurous mix.
