This is a renovation project located in Si'an Village, Rier Township, next to Siguniang Mountain in western Sichuan, which means "prominent platform" in Tibetan, and the Yunshan Mountain stands on a cliff held up by the forest. The roof of the renovated building is flush with the ridge of the Kanoer Snow Mountain, and the side near the cliff is opposite the direction of the sunrise of the Balang Snow Mountain. The original building structure sank into the forest, and the newly added buildings slowly disappeared into the mountain of Kanuoer Snow Mountain when the clouds and mist were filled, and the sloped roof and ridge converged into a "in" word, which is the origin of the project into the cloud mountain.
The overall building borrows from the local architectural structure, simplifies the complex patterns, retains the architectural form of the lower brick and stone upper wooden structure of the Jiarong Tibetan people, and presents it through modern construction methods.
The whole project can be regarded as an artificial continuation of the growth of the mountain peaks, through the localization of the materials of the external wall and the garden, the first floor and the mountain woodland are cleverly integrated, the living room and dining room are placed on the first floor, the landscape is divided by the wall and glass, the interference of other buildings is hidden, and each landscape is left to the snow-capped mountains, with the dense forests around it, as if you are in the mountains and explore outward.
The soft and warm wooden structure on the second floor is reserved for the living space, and you can feel the feast of the eyes and senses surrounded by the mountains and the wind and snow. In the interior design section, the internal wooden frame of the local Jiarong Tibetan house is applied to the wooden structure of the lobby guest rooms, enhancing the locality of the project.
The original project was a wasteland without traffic, and when the road was not formed, it was gradually built using horses and materials to build the road. The addition of a lot of horse elements to the interior is also a commemoration of the efforts made in the project.
There was a waterhole near the edge of the cliff, which was later transformed into a cliffside water feature. It is also an excellent location to watch the sunrise over the Balang Snow Mountain, as well as the rainbow. When the weather is good, it will be an outdoor dining bar, the pond is not deep but can fill the mountains all year round.
