Casa La Quinta is a weekend retreat in central Mexico. After visiting the site and considering the requirements of the project, PPAA came to the conclusion that it was extremely important to respect the character of the site and establish a height that was appropriate to the architectural context, context and existing surrounding walls.
In the end it was thought to define a boundary in the space between them. The flat distribution of the ground floor comes from this concept, so that there is no division or boundary within the social Spaces and outdoor areas. For a proposal that kept all the restrictions inside and had no views of the landscape, three patio-shaped Spaces were proposed.
The three patio-style Spaces are in the form of patios, so that each space has a different character, purpose and program. These Spaces give character to the project, giving the user a different sense of scale, a strong contrast of light and shadow, creating a quiet resting space.
