Monte Carlo Offices, designed by London-based design studio Russell Jones, are located on the platform of L 'Estoril in Monaco. L 'Estoril, a famous building in Monte Carlo overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, was designed for an international investment company with 250 square meters of office space.
The double-height entrance hall and reception area are lined with travertine and grey panelling and are directly connected to the offices on the upper floor. Acoustic separation is achieved through large glass panels on either side of the entrance hall. Interlocking volumes provide a relaxed feeling for horizontal Spaces, reminiscent of Van Doesberg's work.
The simply planned office, with expansive views towards the Plage du Larvotto on both sides, is separated from the kitchen, technical and bathroom facilities by full-height grey storage walls and glass partitions. Furniture and mission lighting are kept simple, and background lighting is discreet and indirect. The calm interior atmosphere contrasts with the adjacent promenade and beach life.
