Oberkampf Apartment is a duplex apartment with an area of 154 square meters. The project is a redesigned redevelopment project that has been transformed into an elaborate and eye-catching modern home by Thomas Viach.
The owners wanted to renovate this apartment in a contemporary way while keeping the exposed beam structure visible. The joinery row conceals access to the office, the toilet, and the entrance dressing room.
The existing staircase has been reworked in roundness, echoing the architecture of a Greek seaside village. A wood-burning insert has been integrated into the original fireplace, accompanied by a concrete bench designed to measure for the project. The built-in closet in the master suite reveals a hidden room dedicated to the dressing room.
