Astronaut Supply in Seoul, South Korea is a rather personal cafe, completed by local design firm The First Penguin in February 2018. The interior's dimly lit space often requires lighting to illuminate it, creating a somber atmosphere.
The First Penguin, a modest studio with scintillating talent, is found by Jaeyoung Choi. They are expert in presenting architecture and design plan angled towards the brand, transcending the limitation of the domains and genres.
Integrating the space experience of the occupants into design, The First Penguin believes that design should be in a harmonious relationship. With simultaneous combinations, the chemical interaction between physical space and the non-physical brands is accomplished.
