The Middle East has undergone many changes in recent decades, according to Iranian design Studio USE Studio. Over the past 20 years in Iran, sanctions, the shadow of war and media hegemony have transformed daily life. The rapid pace of change steals peace of mind as widespread personal and social frustration leads to waves of instability and migration. What is the role of architecture in this case?

Architects are not politicians who can change the world, but they can influence the environment around them. The seniors did a great job of making a difficult geography better. Therefore, USE Studio decided to create a better space. The architecture of Isfahan did a good job of teaching them that architecture can be filled with mystery, rather than expressing everything it has all at once, so it becomes unpredictable, and with every turn of the space, it gives people a new image. Components and concepts continue to exist in the process of contrast and create a whole, and according to Rumi, although day and night are contrasts, they come from the same truth. USE Studio tries to present everything they have experienced and learned in the past architecture in a contemporary form, or recall in the form of "deja Vu".

The geometry of the house is usually taken from the 3 by 3 pattern, which is the parent pattern of many architectural works on the land. If following this pattern, the courtyard is located in the center and the space is organized around it, in this house, the 3x3 pattern, three courtyards in the corner, is organized in such a way that each internal space is not one courtyard and one direction, but each space is related to two courtyards and two directions.

According to the climate of Isfahan, these brick courtyards are meant to provide a constant flow of life on the inner and outer borders. As a result, USE Studio believes that outside of the duality of introversion and extroversion, they have realized a building that, like buildings of the past, uses the courtyard as one of the areas of daily life, while at the same time, the continuity of interior space is inevitable, focusing on today's way of life.
