Z_Lab recently completed a project on the western part of Jeju Island. The OMYO homestay complex is located in a village at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by mountains, and unlike any other part of Jeju, it is filled with the fireworks of life. Its superior geographical conditions give people a sense of security, and therefore a good shelter OMYO.
Entering OMYO, the embodied experience of visitors can be far away from the city, and the past busy feeling can be released easily. The garden, with its decades-old maple trees and walls of ancient stone, takes the present with it further back, where time slows down.
In order to provide guests with a rich and comfortable living experience, Z_Lab has set up a sauna and an open-air bath in the courtyard. The surrounding walls are made of rough stones. While enjoying the bath here, you can also enjoy the natural mountain scenery in the distance. Z_Lab also created a hot spring bathtub in the interior of the homestay, with beautiful music undulation. At this time, the skylight light shines down, adding a unique space atmosphere.
Each space of the B&B has a window that opens to the outside and looks out onto the garden and ripening fruit. The bedroom is designed as a semi-open rest space, where you can talk with friends and share your life experience and space feeling. The sauna area and outdoor bath attached to the bedroom thus become a source of inspiration for happiness in daily life.
