Scenic location and rich nature guided Interior Architect Zoya Mamontova in crafting exclusive interiors for a private villa.
This classy residence blends refined design with an incredible setting — surrounded by magnificent pine trees the house is inspired by nature’s sublime harmony. Delicately bringing the textures from the outside through color schemes and layering Zoya Mamontova set a beautiful dialogue between man and nature.
The house has an area of 3 000 m² and consists of four wings: the main, the separate private wing with its own entrance from the street, guest wing and a spacious spa area with a swimming pool.
All the living spaces flow smoothly into each other with wide pivot doors opened. For that very reason the majority of furniture and objects are made-toorder and customised to fit major proportions.
Project features lot’s of exquisite finishes such as larch, oak, walnut, glossy lacquer coatings or satin brass. Picturesque nature of Central Russia defined the nuanced palette — no bright pops of color are added. This choice give the interior a French vibe especially significant since both Architect and Client have a respect for French authors, such as Christian Liaigre, Christophe Delcourt, Bruno Moinard and Pierre Bonnefille.
Every finish you see inside the house has a beautiful metaphor — brushed wood used for wall panelling stands for a bark of a tree, and a lacquer on smaller pieces of furniture takes after wet leaves laying on a grass after a rain. The peaceful atmosphere gives a space for elegant flower compositions in massive vases, rare design collectibles and various art pieces — always carefully curated by project’s author.
